Phone.com executive vice president and CTO Alon Cohen will speak at Pulver: How We Communicate – MoNage in Boston on Sept. 20th. The show runs from September 20-22 and will be hosted at the Boston Public Library.
Cohen will cover “Inventing VoIP Communication” in his 30 minute session, the story of how he became known as the inventor of VoIP. Cohen is a first ballot member of the Voice over IP Hall of Fame and his knowledge of the subject is legendary. From his early days as a co-founder at VocalTec Communications, the first company to provide Internet voice technology worldwide and one of the earliest successful Internet IPOs, Cohen has seen it all. He is the author of 5 U.S. communication technology patents and joined Phone.com after founding a series of successful business ventures.
