N.J. startup Phone.com raises $2M, moves to Newark

The-StarLedger-300x54NEWARK —New Jersey has answered the call of one of its growing startups with $1 million.

After Phone.com, an internet-based phone provider, secured $1 million in funds from ff Venture Capital, a Manhattan-based investment firm, the state Economic Development Authority agreed to match the money with a line of credit from its Edison Innovation Venture Capital Growth Fund.
