HD Conference Calls From Phone.com
I got to use the Phone.com HD Conference Call service today for the first time in a long time. It was such a pleasure. I’ve made my fare share of conference calls and the Phone.com bridge was by far the easiest to use by a long shot. I called the bridge number, put in the conference ID number and walla, I was connected. It was simple and the sound quality was amazing, though you would expect it to be, it’s an HD Voice service. It also helped because I was on the call with my Hi Def Phone.com Polycom IP450 HD phone. It truly felt like we were all in the same room. Even the participant who was on a cell phone sounded like he was in the room with us, when the cell phone carrier didn’t drop his call.
The Mobile Office app on Android and Blackberry has a great feature. From inside the app you can not only connect to a conference call but also invite others to a call via email, SMS, Facebook and other services as well. That’s really nice in my opinion to not have to remember to invite people after the fact.
If you’ve ever tried and failed to connect to a conference call bridge you know how frustrating it can be, this was just a piece of cake. Go give our conference call bridge a try and let me know what you think on our Facebook Fan Page (or Twitter) also please “Like” us while your at it.
