New Channel Partner Program at Phone.com!

Today marks the beginning of a new phase for Phone.com. We are officially launching our Channel Partner Program (CPP) to work with independent sales, marketing and technical organizations, with value-added resellers and telecom distributors, and with master agents.

We have spent considerable time in planning and testing our program in an effort to “get it right.” Only time will tell but early responses are very encouraging. Phone.com focuses on the small end of the market for customer locations requiring two to twenty or thirty telephones. In the past, many agents and VARs ignored these opportunities because they neither had a solution that was cost effective and suitable nor one that frankly was worth the time in terms of the financial return. Phone.com has changed all of that.

The Phone.com CPP provides each authorized partner with a standard Phone.com URL but with their tracking identifier embedded in it. In this way, they can provide the address to customer prospects and small opportunities can sign up directly using the easy and effective web portal, with all appropriate compensation credited to the partner.

The program contains three ways to generate revenue. These include a “success fee” equal to the first month’s recurring revenue for every sale (after ninety days in good standing), a recurring percentage from each sale, and a “finder’s fee” percentage for sales made by other partners that are referred to and accepted by Phone.com.

To make this program as effective as possible, Phone.com has brought in industry expert Joel Maloff to act as CPP Manager. Joel has extensive experience in telecommunications, Internet telephony, sales and marketing, and channel program relationships.
