Callers wanting the weekly specials or directions will be routed to a prerecorded message. Prerecorded messages allow customers to quickly get the information they need, and keep Jim’s help off the phone and in the kitchen. Using any phone, Jim personally records his weekly specials message every Monday before he opens up for lunch.
Flexible as You Grow
With all the success of the new Phone.com Virtual Office phone, Jim now has the time to add "Option 5" to his call menu, Professional Catering. Working with a local vendor, all requests for catering are routed to a voicemail box. Messages are then automatically sent via email and mobile phone to the vendor who handles all the arrangements. As his catering service grows, Jim is planning to add a new dedicated phone number just for catering, and probably adding "Option 6" to his call menu, Help Wanted at Original Pizza House!
