Phone.com is proud to be sponsoring this years hackNY Demo Fest taking place Friday July 27th on NYU’s campus. DemoFest provides a venue for fellows to present their projects in a “startup pitch” environment. HackNY fellows represent the best and brightest students from around the country and Phone.com is thrilled to support this educational program.
About DemoFest:
This summer, hackNY was able to introduce a stellar cohort of student-hackers from across the country to NYC’s startup ecosystem by pairing the best technical minds with great New York startups. Fellows enjoyed free housing in one of NYU’s best dorms in Union Square for 10 weeks, a paid internship with one of NYC’s hottest startups, and a series of lectures both about technical and practical ins-and-outs of joining and founding a tech startup. The end of the summer DemoFest, Friday, July 27, 2012, is the Fellows’ time to share the new products or features they launched at their startups as well as projects developed during the hackNY program.
