Am I billed for calling a toll-free number?
When placing an outbound call to a toll free number, minutes will be deducted from your plan's allotment.
If I forward a call to my cell phone, does the time I talk on the call count towards the billed minutes?
Yes. When we forward your calls from your Phone.com number to your cell phone number, minutes will be deducted from your Phone.com plan as well as from your cell phone plan.
Does Phone.com offer a 30 day money back guarantee?
The first 30 days are free on Phone.com™ Virtual Office services, therefore if you decide to cancel during this time period, no service fees to Phone.com will have been paid.
When a call is forwarded to a cell phone, does Phone.com charge for the entire length of the call?
Yes, when using Call Forwarding from your Phone.com number to your outside cell phone, minutes will deduct during the entire length of the call.
Are minutes from Phone.com deducted for calls that I forward to my cell phone?
Yes, minutes from Phone.com are deducted for calls that you forward to any outside phone number.
If I use a quarter of a minute, does Phone.com charge for the whole minute?
Yes, to keep billing less confusing, we charge per minute. For more billing information, please visit the Billing section of our FAQ’s.
Are refunds prorated on cancellation?
Yes, refunds are prorated upon cancellation of Phone.com’s Virtual Office services if you cancel before the first 30 days of your service has ended. If you cancel after the first 30 days, no refund will be issued.
Does the end date of an annual contract change if you upgrade or downgrade during that period?
No, the end date does not change, but the payments become pro-rated to reflect the amount paid initially.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards, Visa, American Express, MasterCard and Discover. We do not accept check, cash or money order payments for our Virtual Office services.

What numbers are the “offshore rates” applied to?
When someone calls your toll-free number from the continental United States, these minutes are billed normally; either included in your plan, or at your plan’s “additional minute” rate. Certain calls are “surcharged”, such as those from pay phones, and from Canada. You can choose to allow or deny these calls.
How do you calculate billed minutes use? Do you double charge for forwarded calls or for partial minutes used?
Phone.com does NOT double bill for minutes when a call is forwarded from one phone number to another. Phone.com will round a partial minute to the next full minute but charge for only one minute.
