FAQs: Number Porting
How long does it take to port my number?
Porting or transferring a number from one provider to another can take anywhere from 7 up to 60 days to complete. Generally most transfers occur within 10 days.
Can I expedite my port request?
There are two ways we can try to expedite a port request:
(1) Out-of-service condition.
(2) Medical emergency or facility (i.e., hospital – not a doctor’s office).
(3) Carrier approval. If your carrier approves this expedite, this authorization needs to include the contact person’s name with the provider, their direct phone number, and their email. You can submit this to our customer service team by phone (800) 998-7087 or email to support@phone.com.
Does your company port land lines?
Yes, we can port landlines, virtual numbers, mobile numbers and fax numbers. It is recommended to check with your provider first to ensure that there are no contractual obligations that will prevent the porting of your number away from their company.

We endeavor to honor outbound port requests. See our Customer Terms of Service for more information.

(1.) Incorrect service name and/or address.
We need the service address associated with your number. The service address may differ from the billing address.
(2.) Unpaid balance with current provider
Any unpaid services with the current provider will cause the number to be rejected.
(3.)Freeze or hold on account
We cannot override a freeze or account hold with the current provider. Please contact your provider to ensure this is removed before submitting your request.
**If your number is rejected, we will notify you via the email address on file in your account.**
