1.1. Key Location

 

1.2. Placing a Call

Using the Handset:

Pick up the handset, and then enter the phone number. Alternatively, enter the phone number, and then pick up the handset.

Using the hands-free Speakerphone:

  1. With the handset on-hook, press the [NewCall] soft key. Then enter the number.
  2. Dial the number. Alternatively, dial the number, and then press the [Dial] soft key.

 

1.3. Answering a Call

Using the Handset: Pick up the handset.

Using the Speakerphone: Press the speaker button or the [Answer] soft key

Incoming calls may be ignored by pressing the [Reject] soft key during ringing.

 

1.4. Ending a Call

Using the Handset: Hang up or press [EndCall] soft key

Using the Speakerphone: Press the speaker button or the [EndCall] button

 

1.5. Microphone Mute

During a call, press the microphone mute button. Mute applies to all modes: headset and hands-free. You can hear all other parties while Mute is enabled.

To turn off Mute, press the microphone mute button again.

 

1.6. Call Hold & Resume

  1. During a call, press the [Hold] soft key
  2. Press the [Hold] again or the [Resume] soft key to retrieve the call.

 

1.7. Call Transfer

  1. During a call, press the [Trans] soft key, the active call will be placed on hold.
  2. If you wish to transfer the call without speaking to the second party, press the [Blind] soft key, otherwise continue to the next step.
  3. Place a call to the party (Number or Extension) to whom you want to transfer the call.
  4. After hearing the ring-back tone or after speaking with the second party press the [Trans] soft key to complete the transfer.

 

1.8. Call Forwarding

To enable call forwarding:

  1. From the main screen Press the [Forward] soft key.
  2. Select forwarding type (Always, No Answer, Busy) then enter a number to forward calls that arrive.
  3. Press the [Enable] soft key to confirm Call Forwarding.

To disable call forwarding:

1. Press the [Disable] soft key.

 

1.9. Redial

To redial the last number dialed press the (Redial) key

1.10. Do Not Disturb

Press (Menu) select [Features], select [Do Not Disturb] to prevent the phone from ringing on incoming calls.

A Do Not Disturb icon will appear to confirm that Do Not Disturb is enabled.

Repeat the above process to turn off the Do Not Disturb.

 

1.11. To create a three-way conference (3 way) call:

  1. Call the first party.
  2. Press [Confrnc] soft key. The active call is placed on hold.
  3. Place a call to the second party.
  4. When the second party answers, press or the [Confrnc] soft key again to join all parties in the conference.To put the conference on hold, press the [Hold] soft key. To resume the conference, press the [Resume] soft key.

To end the conference, press the [End Call] soft key. The other parties remain connected.

When a conference has been established, pressing the [Split] soft key will split the conference into two calls on hold.

To split the conference into two calls on hold, press the [Split] soft key

.If you have an active call and a call on hold, you can create a conference by pressing the [Join] soft key.

 

1.12. Call Lists

Press (Menu), [Features] followed by [Call Lists], then select Missed Calls, Received Calls, or Placed Calls. Information on respective calls will be displayed.

You can select a call from any list and do the following:

  • To place a call, press the [Dial] soft key
  • To change the phone number before dialing, press the [Edit] soft key.
  • To remove the call from the list, press the [Clear] soft key.
  • To store the contact in your Contact Directory, press the [Save] soft key. Saving is volatile unless performed from the Phone.com control panel, as the phone re-loads the list from the server each time it re-boots
  • To view information about the call, press the [Info] soft key.

 

1.13. Volume Adjustment

Press the volume keys to adjust handset, headset, and hands-free speaker volume during a call. Pressing those keys in idle mode adjusts the ringer volume.

 

1.14. Voice mail

A voice mail icon on the phone screen, a flashing line key, and a stutter dial tone in place of normal dial tone indicate one or more new voice mail messages.To listen to voice messages:

  1. Press the [Messages] key and select [Message center] soft key.
  2. Press the [Connect] soft key and follow voice prompts to listen to messages.

NOTE: The specific Voicemail extension has to be selected in the Control Panel to enable the phone to open a different Voicemail box than the default one associated with the Phone extension number.

 

1.15. Directories

Press (Menu) button, the [features] soft key then the [Contact Directory]. Once inside pressthe arrow keys (V) or (^) and you will be able to browse through your extensions and address book entries.
