Follow Me

Phone.com Follow Me feature allows you to direct calls to a single or multiple phone numbers and have them ring all at once or one after the other. Calls can be directed to your home, office, mobile or any phone worldwide. Phone.com call handling rules allow you to define your Follow Me destinations and also allow for forwarding based on Caller ID or Schedules. The Phone.com Follow me feature is actually call forwarding on steroids.

Benefits of Follow Me

  • Enables, when you receive a call, to pick up the phone more convenient to you at any given moment (desk phone or cell phone).
  • Give your home phone or office phone system that personal touch by forwarding different people to different destinations or personal greetings.
  • Get your business that reliable reputation by forwarding calls to any of your phones, no matter where you are.
  • Use Follow Me to transfer calls to your employees’ cell, home or work phones, without an expensive phone system.
  • Apply Follow Me to any number from your Phone.com Address Book, to extensions, and most unique to international phone numbers.
  • Select the amount of seconds for the call to ring as well as what Caller ID will be displayed or Voice Tag will be played to you with any incoming calls.

Tip: The Call Screening feature of Phone.com is useful in situations where you specify in your call forwarding rules that you want a few phone numbers (like your cell and office phone) to ring at the same time. By specifying Call Screening on those situations you ensure that the call to certain phones will be ignored if one device voicemail picks up before other phone numbers ring. Without call screening, your cell phone voicemail can grab the call before you had a chance to answer on the other phone that rings at the same time.
