Call Transfer



Call Transfer is an in-call feature, allowing you to transfer any incoming call to another phone number at the press of a button. The call transfer option includes making an attended transfer.

The Call Transfer feature is activated using hard buttons or soft buttons on an a Phone.com IP Phone extensions, and the keypad when using Analog Phones or virtual extensions.

During an incoming call to your Phone.com number or extension, you can activate the In‐Call features, in this case Call Transfer, by pressing the following keys from an Analog Phone connected to a Phone Adapter (ATA) or any phone used to receive the call on a virtual extension.

At any time during an incoming call

- Press (*)(2) to activate attended transfer of the call to another party

(Please note these option include the star (*) plus the option number.)

- Caller hears your selected hold music

You will be prompted to enter the desired extension or telephone number

If the call is answered, you can speak with the dialed number, announcing the call transfer (meanwhile the caller still hears hold music).

- Hang up, the incoming caller and the dialed number are connected. The outbound call is logged in your call logs.

- You can press (*)(0) to fetch back a call during a call transfer process.
