| What are the System Settings? |
| The System Settings allow you to configure the basic requirements of your phone system, including your time zone, extension numbering, system voice and hold music. Select Settings from the navigation bar within your Phone.com account to begin configuring. |
| How do I upgrade my plan? |
| You have the option of upgrading your virtual office, voice services plan by selecting on the Settings link from the navigation bar. |
| How do I update the time zone for my account? |
| Select your time zone from the list found in the Settings section of your account. This setting allows your system to properly log the date and times of incoming calls and utilize the advanced scheduling feature. |
| Is there a way to choose the length of my extensions? |
| Yes, you can choose the length of the extensions associated with your account by logging in and selecting on the Settings option from the navigation bar. You will find the Extension length option located on the center of the page. Select the length you wish to choose from the drop-down menu. The length can can be anywhere from 2, 3, 4, or 5 numbers long. This gives callers the option to type in an extension number when prompted to dial your extensions. |
| How do I select the number my extensions begin with? |
| You can select the number your extensions begin with by logging into your account and selecting the Settings from the navigation bar. In the center of the page, under Extension Numbering, the Extensions Start With option will be found. You have the option to choose any number 1 through 9. |
| How do I select the default hold music for my system? Do you offer any samples I can preview? |
| You can select the hold music by selecting Settings from the navigation bar. A drop-down menu can be found on the bottom center of the page. Select on the Samples link to preview or click here. |
| I would prefer my Dial by Name Directory to be displayed by first name rather than the default by last name. How do I make this update? |
| You can modify the Dial by Name Directory display by selecting on the Settings option from the navigation bar of your account then locating and selecting the drop-down menu located on the center left-hand side of the page. |
