No Need To Dial The Area Code If Your Calleing The Same Area Code

Monday, February 7th, 2011 at 6:39 PM EST

Over the weekend our expert team of developers completed a new feature on our Mobile Office service. It allows a caller to not have to dial the area code of a number if their callers Caller ID is the same area code as the recipients. Meaning if I place a call from my Phone.com number (213-908-2312) to another number with a 213 area code there is no need for me to dial 213 any longer.

So if you’re a doctor with lots of appointments and you have a nurse calling each of your scheduled patients for the next day the nurse can save time and dial 3 less numbers. It may not sound like much but I’m sure his or her finger will be happy and it will save time in the long run.
